  7. Recently I downloaded Dag Âgren's excellent "LotsaLego" screenblanker, and
  8. found it great fun to watch. But, never satisfied, I thought it might be
  9. fun to write a 3d version. And here it is.

  11. It's a little unsophisticated and sometimes gets the depth sorting slightly
  12. wrong, but hey, it's only a screensaver! :)

  15. In order to use this screenblanker, you will need Michael D. Bayne's
  16. GarshneBlanker installed. I have only tested Lego3d with v38.8, but it may
  17. well work with earlier versions.

  19. To install, copy the 3 blanker files ("Lego3d", "Lego3d.ifc" and
  20. "Lego3d.txt") to the location where you keep all your other GBlanker
  21. modules. After doing this, bring up GBlanker's window and click on Quit.
  22. Now restart GBlanker, and Lego3d will be added to the list of available
  23. blankers.

  26. Lego3d should work on any Amiga running KS2 or later. However, if you are
  27. not using an AGA/graphic card equipped computer, you will need to use a
  28. non-HiRes screenmode as Lego3d requires a 32-colour screen. It looks best
  29. in a low-res screen mode anyway, IMHO. :)
